the boxer franco adami, following a match in which he was champion, must abandon the competitions for a big punch received by the heart. all this transforms his character: from an honest boy he soon becomes a frequenter of gambling dens, dubious circles and people of the mala. one day he sees luisa, his former girlfriend, now engaged to his brother roberto and tries to win her back. invested by a car luisa, seriously injured, she has to undergo a surgical operation and roberto, who recently devoted himself to boxing, to find the necessary sum for the operation, agrees to fight with a champion who will surely win it. franco, having learned of his brother's intentions, stuns him with a fist and takes his place. he wins the match, but his heart cannot withstand the effort and the young man falls to the ground, dead.
